General Assurance – Non-Accountancy Associate

About the role

PwC is seeking a General Assurance – Non-Accountancy Associate to join its General Assurance Practice. The role starts in July 2027 and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of Singapore‑listed companies, multinational corporations and emerging firms, helping them navigate regulatory complexities and improve corporate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit fieldwork and test internal controls across a client portfolio using PwC’s global audit methodology.
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation to support audit conclusions.
• Assist in reviewing financial statements for compliance with SFRS, IFRS and SSA standards.
• Liaise with client finance teams to obtain information, resolve queries and understand business processes.
• Support senior associates, managers and partners throughout the engagement lifecycle, from planning to reporting.
• Deliver innovative, cost‑effective solutions for financial control, regulatory reporting and technology‑related audit issues.

Required profile

• Final‑year undergraduate pursuing a degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or Data Science.
• Strong academic record with consistent performance.
• Active involvement in co‑curricular activities, leadership roles, internships or community initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, proactive mindset with adaptability to a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment.
• Strong sense of ownership, curiosity and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Understanding of Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA).
