General Insurance Product Manager – Bancassurance & Advisory Channels

About the role

DBS is hiring a General Insurance Product Manager (listed as Vice President, General Insurance Product Manager) for its bancassurance advisory channels, based in DBS Asia Central. The role covers business performance reporting, partner and insurer management, governance and risk oversight, complaints handling and strategic process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare business updates for senior management, including performance decks, forecasts and materials for country and regional governance platforms
• Track performance across telesales, branches, lead generation and mortgage fire portfolios, and turn results into clear management narratives
• Partner with channel leads, product teams and insurers to align on priorities and deliver timely leadership updates
• Support governance, risk and control activities such as internal reviews, audits, annual partner assessments and policy reviews, and oversee operational governance for managed sales teams
• Oversee insurer commission and billing processes, including statement reviews, issue resolution and billing approvals
• Own end-to-end complaint oversight across channels, including investigations, escalation handling and resolution tracking
• Drive strategic initiatives such as product launches, process improvements and customer journey enhancements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, economics or a related discipline
• Strong experience in business management, bancassurance, insurance or financial services
• Proven ability to manage senior management reporting and handle stakeholders across multiple teams, including external partners
• Confident communicator with strong writing skills, good organisational and interpersonal skills
