General Manager – Cleaning Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our cleaning services business in Singapore. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, business growth, and high customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across multiple cleaning sites.
• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sustainable growth.
• Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure profitability.
• Lead, mentor and manage operations managers, supervisors and administrative staff.
• Plan and optimise manpower deployment, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction through regular inspections.
• Build strong client relationships and handle service issues promptly.
• Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals and support contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws, workplace safety regulations and industry standards.
• Develop policies, SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within cleaning, facilities management or related services.
• Proven ability to manage large operational teams across multiple sites.
• Strong leadership, organisational and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent financial management and budgeting experience.
• Solid business development and client relationship management skills.
• Good knowledge of Singapore employment regulations and workplace safety requirements.
• Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
