General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the daily operations of our restaurant in Singapore. You will be the key driver of service excellence, cost control, and revenue growth while ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations on a daily basis.
• Supervise and mentor the Restaurant Manager, supervisors, wait staff, and host/hostess.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance, hygiene, and punctuality.
• Control costs and expenses while delivering top‑line revenue and profit.
• Provide professional, courteous service and ensure staff follow the same standards.
• Keep the workplace and surrounding area clean and organized.
• Operate the existing POS system and manage daily routine checklists.
• Report disciplinary incidents promptly to senior management.
• Coordinate annual operational reviews and support supplier relationships.
• Conduct scheduled inventories of products and equipment.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints efficiently.
• Enforce opening and closing procedures and assign responsibilities to team members.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in restaurant or food‑and‑beverage management.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and drive performance.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and personal presentation.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
