Geotechnical Engineer – Piling Works

About the role

We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with expertise in piling works and supervision to join our team at KT Foundation Pte Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing geotechnical aspects of piling works, conducting site investigations, and ensuring proper supervision during the execution phase.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with or conduct field testing and laboratory analysis of soil and rock properties.
• Design, analyze, and review foundation systems, including driven piles, bored piles, and other deep foundation systems.
• Oversee piling works on‑site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
• Monitor and supervise piling installation, ensuring accurate load testing, socketing, and adherence to geotechnical parameters.
• Coordinate with project managers, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare and review piling design calculations and technical specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or piling works.
• Understanding of foundation systems, soil mechanics, and basic pile design.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and contractors.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment.
