Global Account Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Global Account Manager (Lifesciences) to lead the profitable development of global accounts, positioning DHL as a strategic business partner and delivering agreed programs through a cross‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, establish and manage multi‑tier relationships across customer and DHL organisations to ensure long‑term partnership and corporate goal achievement.
• Drive sales improvement through regionally harmonised processes.
• Establish a clear understanding of customer expectations and requirements.
• Lead and manage customer presentations and proposals.
• Plan and coordinate activities and programmes to retain and develop sustainable sales revenue.
• Develop and manage after‑sales strategy for each designated account.
• Provide customer‑oriented service for sales and expectation issues.
• Contribute to regional bidding or RFQ processes when requested.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in account management/development and consultative/solution‑based sales in a service‑related industry.
• Familiarity with the International Express/Air Transportation industry is an advantage.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, networking and interpersonal abilities.
• Degree in Business or a related discipline.
