Global Director (EMS/Electronics)

About the role

We are looking for a Global Director to lead quality and business performance across our EMS/electronics manufacturing sites worldwide. The role combines strategic quality leadership with full P&L responsibility to drive customer satisfaction, operational excellence and profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the global quality strategy across multiple manufacturing sites, covering Manufacturing Quality, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality and Quality Systems.
• Lead major customer escalations, audits, CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive quality transformation through Lean, Six Sigma, digitalization and AI.
• Own and drive P&L and financial performance, including cost, productivity and profitability.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance to achieve business targets and improve margins.
• Manage key customer relationships and support commercial discussions and business growth.
• Lead and develop global teams, fostering a culture of quality, accountability and commercial ownership.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in EMS, electronics, contract manufacturing or high‑volume manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience across global Quality and business/P&L functions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality, operational excellence, financial management and customer management.
• Demonstrated ability to drive both quality improvement and profitable business growth.
