Global Head of Product, Trust & Safety (Mandarin Required)

About the role

A leading global consumer technology company is seeking an experienced Head of Product, Trust & Safety, to lead product strategy, development and execution of safety and risk-management capabilities across international markets. The role combines product strategy, trust and safety, risk technology and people management, and leads a team of Product Managers responsible for content safety, platform integrity, risk prevention, policy enforcement and governance infrastructure. It is based in Singapore, with work locations also in New York City and Palo Alto.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the international Trust & Safety product vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Product Managers, setting priorities and execution standards.
• Drive initiatives across content safety, platform integrity, abuse prevention, risk detection and policy enforcement.
• Develop and optimise moderation platforms, risk-control systems, policy enforcement workflows and Trust & Safety infrastructure.
• Partner with Engineering and Algorithm teams on automated risk detection, content classification, decisioning and enforcement.
• Identify ways to use AI, machine learning and large language models to improve safety and scalability.
• Translate policy, operational and regulatory requirements into practical product capabilities.
• Set product success metrics covering risk reduction, enforcement effectiveness, operational efficiency and user experience.
• Ensure products fit different international markets, languages, cultures and regulatory environments.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Policy, Legal and Operations, and collaborate with senior stakeholders in China.

Required profile

• Senior product leader with significant experience developing and scaling complex technology products, ideally in Trust & Safety, platform governance, risk control or related areas.
• Proven experience managing a team of at least 5 Product Managers (mandatory).
• Experience defining product strategy, owning complex roadmaps and delivering products at scale.
• Strong understanding of Trust & Safety, content moderation, risk detection, policy enforcement or platform integrity systems.
• Experience with complex internal platforms, risk-control products or operational technology systems.
• Experience in a large-scale consumer internet, social media, UGC, marketplace or technology platform is highly advantageous.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is mandatory; conversational Mandarin alone is not sufficient.
