Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst

About the role

The Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst will ensure YMCA Singapore meets all governance requirements by designing, implementing and maintaining robust risk and compliance frameworks across the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Services, you will lead risk assessments, update the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks, and drive a culture of compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain governance processes in collaboration with all business units.
• Prepare and submit governance filings, including the Governance Evaluation Checklist, on time.
• Conduct regular enterprise risk assessments and update ERM and BCM frameworks.
• Monitor YMCA’s IPC status and ensure data‑protection policies are applied.
• Manage the policy lifecycle – approval, access, dissemination, review and revision.
• Identify compliance gaps, design training programmes and promote a strong compliance culture.
• Maintain the Incident Reporting System and present quarterly incident reviews.
• Support internal control remediation with business heads and provide secretariat services for relevant committees.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in governance, risk or compliance.
• Resourceful, able to work independently with strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent planning, organization, communication and presentation skills.
