Graduate Engineer – Manufacturing & Technology

About the role

As a Graduate Engineer you will gain exposure to Applied Materials' manufacturing operations, working on projects that impact global semiconductor customers. You will rotate across business functions, applying engineering principles to improve processes, reduce costs and support new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain methods, operating sequences and processes for part and assembly fabrication.
• Coordinate release of product improvements and new products with cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Estimate and reduce manufacturing costs, improve product quality and define time standards.
• Recommend tooling and process requirements based on lean and automation principles.
• Design, execute and evaluate test procedures to identify root‑cause issues and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a strong interest in semiconductor manufacturing and technology.
• Passionate, curious and driven individual eager to learn across multiple business areas.

Required skills

• Lean manufacturing principles.
• Automation and data‑analytics techniques.
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 and smart‑factory concepts.
