Group Account Executive

About the role

Fuku is hiring a Group Account Executive in Singapore on a full-time basis. The role covers the full range of accounting work for the Group, from day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations through month-end closing, financial reporting, tax and statutory compliance, and audit coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounting for multiple entities, keeping general ledger, journal entries and supporting documents accurate and complete, and perform monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage daily accounts payable and receivable, verify invoices, issue invoices, follow up on payments and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, prepare journal entries, accruals and adjustments, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow) and assist with quarterly and annual financial statements, analysing variances against budget.
• Compile expenditure reports, prepare basic financial analysis, and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Monitor bank balances, prepare payment batches and bank transfer instructions, and ensure payments follow Group approval procedures.
• Prepare and submit GST returns, compile information for corporate income tax, and liaise with external accountants and tax advisors.
• Maintain records for statutory reporting, coordinate with external corporate secretarial providers, and track filing deadlines.
• Prepare schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents for internal and external audits, and implement agreed corrective actions.
• Maintain intercompany transaction records, reconcile balances between Group entities, and support group consolidation.
• Keep up to date with accounting standards and statutory reporting, and support improvements to accounting processes and systems.
