Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller leads the finance function for the entire organization, ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and strategic insight. This senior position partners with business units to drive performance, manage risk, and support transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning, providing analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Strengthen internal controls, conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, working capital, treasury relationships and financing activities.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive finance transformation projects, including process automation, reporting enhancements and digital adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, including 3‑5 years as a Group Financial Controller or CFO in a large MNC or SGX‑listed company.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis and management reporting.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving capability.
