Guest Service Officer – Telephone Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Guest Service Officer – Telephone Operator to join our Guest Services Centre. In this call‑centre‑style position you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering consistent, high‑quality service over the phone.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and route guest telephone enquiries promptly and courteously.
• Support the Guest Services Centre team to ensure smooth daily operations within the Rooms Division.
• Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and follow‑up actions.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to guest services and reservations.

Required profile

• Minimum G.C.E. “O” level qualification.
• No prior experience required; 1‑2 years in hotel or call‑centre operations is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Mandarin speaking is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using Opera property‑management system.
• Familiarity with PABX telephone systems.
