Head of Compliance/Risk

About the role

We are seeking an experienced compliance and risk leader to join a Singapore‑listed REIT. Reporting to the Board, you will shape the compliance and enterprise risk agenda for a regulated capital‑markets entity, working closely with senior management and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance & Licensing – Ensure ongoing compliance with the CIS Code, Securities and Futures Act, SGX Listing Rules, Code of Corporate Governance, AIFMD and CMSL conditions; manage relationships with MAS and SGX and monitor regulatory developments.
• Enterprise Risk Management – Identify, assess and evaluate business, emerging and sustainability‑related risks; implement mitigating controls in line with MAS guidelines and provide risk education.
• Internal Controls & Audit Coordination – Develop and maintain a robust internal control framework, review policies and authority matrices, and coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Board & Governance Support – Advise the Board on regulatory and statutory obligations, support Board meetings, and manage AML/CFT, sanctions and conflicts‑of‑interest compliance.
• Cross‑Functional Compliance Oversight – Partner with Investor Relations and other stakeholders to ensure annual reports, sustainability reports, SGXNET announcements and marketing materials meet regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of relevant risk and compliance experience, preferably within a CMSL‑licensed entity, REIT, fund management company or other regulated financial institution.
• Strong working knowledge of the CIS Code, SFA, SGX Listing Rules and related regulatory frameworks.
