Head of Corporate Development

About the role

We are partnering with a large telecoms organization to appoint a strategic Head of Corporate Development focused on treasury and capital structure. You will shape the global financing framework, manage banking relationships, and drive hedging and equity management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital architecture by negotiating complex credit agreements and managing bank facilities and lines of credit.
• Oversee global liquidity strategy, optimizing cash flow, inter‑company funding and liquidity buffers.
• Partner with the executive team on debt and equity fundraising rounds to ensure sufficient capital for growth.
• Design and execute FX and interest‑rate hedging programs to protect the P&L in volatile markets.
• Prepare high‑level board reports translating treasury data into strategic insights on solvency, risk and cost of capital.
• Maintain cap‑table hygiene, supervise share issuances and stock‑based compensation impacts.
• Act as technical lead for investor relations, providing data and narrative on financial strength and capital efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A, corporate finance or venture capital with a treasury focus.
• Background in growth‑stage SaaS, FinTech or telecom companies, preferably those that have completed an IPO or strategic sale.
• Proven track record of deal execution, acquisitions and divestments.
• Ability to operate strategically while managing complex transactions.
• Strong analytical, strategic and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
