Head of Risk & Controls Transformation

About the role

The Head of Risk & Controls Transformation will lead Eastspring’s agenda to strengthen risk management and control frameworks across its asset‑management business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the transformation roadmap, coordinate implementation across the Group and regional units, and ensure governance and reporting are embedded.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the risk and control enhancement roadmap, translating reviews into prioritized actions and partnering with Risk, Compliance, the Transformation Office and business leaders.
• Adapt and improve risk management frameworks, simplifying assessment methodologies, control libraries and governance processes to deliver meaningful risk insights.
• Build forward‑looking risk monitoring capabilities, define asset‑management‑specific KRIs/KCIs, and increase real‑time, automated risk monitoring through technology and data collaboration.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit or related control functions within financial services.
• Proven track record of leading transformation, operating‑model or control‑enhancement programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior leadership.
• Strategic thinker capable of turning complex issues into practical solutions.
• University degree.
