Head of School (AI, Computing & Digital Innovation)

About the role

LSBF is seeking a visionary leader to shape the next phase of its School of AI, Technology & Digitalisation (SATD). This role bridges academia and industry, strengthening LSBF’s reputation in the technology ecosystem and positioning the school as a recognised platform for AI, digital innovation and emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic and strategic leadership for AI, Computing and Digital programmes, ensuring quality, assessment integrity and industry relevance.
• Lead curriculum reviews, participate in Academic Board and examination boards, and work closely with university partners on programme delivery.
• Build and nurture relationships with technology firms, professional bodies, government agencies and industry experts to raise LSBF’s profile.
• Identify emerging trends, recommend new programmes or specialisations, and support student recruitment through industry talks and outreach.
• Mentor academic staff, foster faculty development, and enhance the student experience through projects, hackathons and industry engagements.

Required profile

• Senior professionals from industry (e.g., Directors, Heads of Technology, AI Leads, Chief Data Officers) or academic leaders (e.g., Associate Deans, Heads of School, Professors) with strong networks and credibility.
• Master’s degree or Doctorate in a relevant discipline, with deep expertise in AI, Computing, Data or Digital Innovation.
• Proven experience in leadership, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and public speaking.
• Understanding of higher‑education quality assurance and academic governance is advantageous.
