Head of Security Operations & Delivery (IT)

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to become the technical backbone of our delivery practice, driving the transformation of our VAPT and SOC services with AI‑augmented processes. The role will oversee delivery quality across client engagements and mentor a small team of consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery quality for VAPT, SOC/managed detection, and risk assessment engagements—from scoping to final report sign‑off.
• Redesign delivery workflows to embed AI‑assisted reconnaissance, scanning and alert triage, collaborating with the AI Security & Automation Lead.
• Launch and operate a continuous/subscription‑based VAPT offering distinct from point‑in‑time engagements.
• Mentor and develop two junior consultants, defining clear specialization tracks (VAPT/red‑team or SOC/GRC).
• Serve as senior technical escalation point for clients and sign‑off authority on all findings.
• Partner with the Director, BD & Client Success on scoping calls and provide technical credibility during sales conversations.
• Own technical hiring decisions for future delivery‑team growth.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in penetration testing, red teaming or security operations, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or team‑lead role.
• Recognised offensive security certification (OSCP, OSCE) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Hands‑on experience across web, network and cloud penetration testing and SOC/SIEM operations.
• Proven use of AI/automation tooling in security engagements (mandatory screening criterion).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate technical findings into business risk for non‑technical stakeholders.
