High Velocity Sales Account Manager

About the role

As a High Velocity Sales Account Manager you will drive growth for AspenTech by selling its engineering software portfolio and implementation services to customers in an assigned region. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to craft client strategies, manage relationships and close opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute account, pipeline and competitive displacement plans to drive growth.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and RFP responses to negotiation and closing.
• Analyze customer business priorities and existing software usage to position tailored solutions.
• Challenge client workflows to enable digital transformation and measurable results.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Production, Business or Petroleum engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of consultative sales or industry‑related experience.
• Proven ability to prospect new markets and manage complex solution‑based sales.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with key stakeholders.
• Self‑discipline, motivation and goal‑setting capability.
• Process industry knowledge is a plus.
