HNW Insurance Broker

About the role

The HNW Insurance Broker develops new business and manages client relationships within the high-net-worth segment. The role works with private bankers, wealth planners and client advisors to deliver tailored insurance solutions, with success measured by meeting sales targets and building referral partnerships. It sits within the private banking, securities, asset management or insurance industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business and client acquisition through referral networks
• Build rapport with wealth planners, team leaders and market heads to drive referrals
• Work with private bankers, wealth planners and client advisors to understand HNW clients' needs and give appropriate advice
• Identify opportunities to introduce other lines of business and deliver the Whole Firm proposition
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and operational procedures
• Achieve sales targets by building a strong sales pipeline

Required profile

• Degree with at least 6-8 years' experience in sales or business development in the private banking, securities, asset management or insurance industry, as a Relationship Manager or Insurance Specialist in the HNW segment
• Proven sales track record promoting Universal Life and other life insurance products
• Existing ultra-HNW client relationships and strong client-facing experience
• Fluent verbal and written English; Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage
