Hospitality Industry Consultant (8 Months Contract)

About the role

Marsh is looking for a bright and ambitious individual to strengthen its business growth in the Singapore team as a Hospitality Industry Consultant on an 8-month contract. The consultant develops and maintains trusted relationships with leading hospitality organizations and acts as a strategic industry partner to clients' senior rewards stakeholders. A key responsibility is running the Hospitality Forum (HIRG) for senior representatives from major hotel groups such as Hilton, Marriott International, IHG, Accor and Hyatt.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a key relationship contact for hospitality clients, engaging regularly with senior HR, Rewards, Talent, Operations and business leaders, and connecting them with Marsh specialists and solutions
• Manage the regional Hospitality Forum: set annual priorities, themes and calendar, organize meetings and roundtables, prepare agendas and briefing notes, and improve the forum's value and profile
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospitality trends and share industry briefings, articles and insights, and contribute to research, surveys and benchmarking
• Identify business development opportunities, collaborate with account teams and specialists, support proposals and client briefings, and facilitate introductions to Marsh experts
• Provide targeted input to consulting assignments, help scope client needs and bring hospitality-sector context to consulting teams

Required profile

• 5 to 8 years of experience, preferably in hospitality, industry relationship management, client development, consulting, HR, rewards, talent, events or a related field
• Experience organizing and facilitating executive forums, roundtables, conferences or industry events
• Prior experience in professional services, advisory or a commercial relationship-management environment is advantageous

The role is hybrid: colleagues are expected to be in their local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week, with an anchor day each week for office-based teams.
