Hotel Front Desk – Orchard (3‑month contract, potential permanent)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic front‑desk team member to join our Orchard hotel for an initial three‑month contract, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position. The role involves welcoming guests, handling check‑in and check‑out, and providing a high level of service throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, offer welcome drinks and towels, and create a great first impression.
• Assist with check‑in and check‑out procedures, including handling luggage and special requests.
• Respond to guest enquiries in person, by phone, email and digital platforms.
• Track and update guest amenities such as welcome packages and special requests.
• Collect guest feedback and relay it to supervisors or managers.
• Support daily front‑desk operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Fresh or entry‑level candidate willing to work a 5 pm‑2:30 am shift, five days a week including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to commit to a minimum three‑month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
• Flexibility to work on a rostered schedule with two days off per week.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
