About the role

The HR Executive will act as a full‑spectrum HR generalist, supporting the employee lifecycle and daily HR matters for assigned departments. You will partner closely with managers and staff to ensure smooth recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning, and off‑boarding processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide HR generalist support to designated departments and serve as the first point of contact for routine HR queries.
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, probation, performance reviews, contract renewals, internal movements, and off‑boarding.
  • Coordinate recruitment tasks such as interview scheduling, candidate shortlisting, offer preparation, and post‑hire follow‑up.
  • Support Learning & Development initiatives by maintaining training calendars, tracking attendance, collecting feedback, and handling course registrations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, trackers, reports, employee documentation, and keep the HRIS up to date.
  • Assist with HR projects, process documentation, policy reviews, and employee communications.
  • Identify recurring people issues, morale risks, or process gaps and escalate appropriately.
  • Provide backup support to the HR team during peak periods or absences.

Required profile

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources Management or Business Management.
  • 3‑5 years of experience as an HR generalist.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting L&D processes (preferred).
  • Experience in non‑profit, charity, or humanitarian settings is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders independently.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive in follow‑up.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Reliable, independent, and comfortable operating in a broad HR generalist role.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
