HR Generalist - FSI Banking and Financial Services

About the role

Infosys is hiring an HR Generalist (titled Principal in the listing) for its FSI banking and financial services practice in Singapore. The role covers payroll, employee relations, onboarding and offboarding, and supports the APAC HR Business Partner on performance management, learning and development and ad hoc HR projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage payroll systems and process the monthly payroll cycle while following all applicable legislation
• Assist in compliance audits and ensure HR policies are followed
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding procedures
• Administer HR administrative operations and the implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Handle employee relations, including complaints, disputes, policy enforcement and mediation
• Manage the employee database and prepare reports as needed
• Support special events such as meetings, recognition events, holiday parties and social activities
• Support annual HR cycle performance management and learning and development planning, working with the APAC HR Business Partner
• Communicate HR topics to employees and coordinate ad hoc HR projects on time and within budget

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as an HR generalist
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Organisation Development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Attention to detail, result-driven, collaborative and comfortable with hands-on administration with multiple priorities

Required skills

• Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Payroll system (Papaya preferred)
