HR Officer Internship – Singapore

About the role

The HR Officer will support recruitment, onboarding, payroll and employee relations for Alwatch Security Management, a licensed security agency in Singapore. Reporting to the HR & Admin Manager, the role ensures compliance with employment law and company policies throughout the 6‑month attachment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment activities by posting jobs, screening candidates and coordinating interviews.
• Administer onboarding processes, maintain accurate employee records and manage employment documentation.
• Process payroll, administer leave and manage employee benefits to ensure timely remuneration.
• Support work pass applications, renewals and regulatory submissions to maintain legal workforce status.
• Maintain HR databases and personnel records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle employee enquiries and disciplinary matters to support employee relations and compliance.

Required profile

• Mid‑career individual (40 years and above) with a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant HR experience covering multiple HR functions.
• Knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, CPF regulations and MOM requirements.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information securely.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Workforce Management App for attendance tracking.
• Experience using HR systems for payroll processing.
