HR Operations Manager

About the role

A well-established multinational in the energy and services sector, with a large operational workforce across multiple sites in Singapore, is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead its HR Operations and Training functions for the Facility Management business. The role leads a team of HR and Training specialists and drives improvements across the employee lifecycle, HR governance and training administration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team: coach a team of 4 HR and Training specialists, set performance objectives, service standards and development plans, and foster a collaborative, customer-centric, continuous improvement culture.
• Review and streamline HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, employee movements, contract administration, offboarding) so they are standardised, efficient, compliant and scalable, and fix operational gaps.
• Standardise HR policies, procedures, templates and employee documentation; develop and maintain HR SOPs, workflows and process guidelines; ensure compliance with organisational policies and statutory requirements.
• Lead training administration and governance, set service standards and performance metrics for the Training team, monitor training effectiveness and ensure accurate training records and reporting.
• Drive HR operational excellence and process improvement projects, support HR digitalisation, automation and system enhancement, and partner with stakeholders to strengthen HR governance, efficiency and service quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 6 to 8 years of HR experience, preferably in HR Operations, Shared Services or a complex multi-site environment.
• Proven people management experience.
• Experience driving process improvement, governance and operational transformation.

Required skills

• Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
