HR Vice President - Singapore

About the role

A top Chinese securities firm based in Singapore is hiring an HR Vice President. The role oversees end-to-end local HR operations, from payroll and compliance to employee relations and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Singapore local HR operations, including payroll, CPF and tax administration, ensuring full compliance and accuracy.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, maintain documentation and handle employee records.
• Plan and run local employee engagement activities and internal culture initiatives.
• Handle employee communication and relations, respond to staff enquiries and coordinate employment matters.
• Implement global HR policies and align them with Singapore local labour regulations.
• Maintain HR data and reports and liaise with HQ HR and local external vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above; major in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
• 5-8 years of solid generalist HR experience, with total working experience under 10 years.
• Familiarity with Singapore payroll, CPF, tax rules and local employment laws.
• Hands-on experience in onboarding, offboarding, employee activities and staff relations; proactive, detail-oriented and independent.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong communication skills.
• Prior HR experience in securities, financial institutions or Chinese overseas companies is highly preferred.
