Human Resource (HR) Manager

About the role

The Human Resource (HR) Manager will lead and oversee HR and administrative functions for NEWSOLUTION CONSTRUCTION & MATERIAL TRADING PTE. LTD. and its group of companies. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape HR policies, drive compensation strategies, and ensure accurate payroll to support the organisation’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and practices aligned with business goals across the group.
• Review and analyse employee salary structures and overtime systems to maintain competitive and fair compensation.
• Design career paths and establish salary ranges for each position to promote growth and retention.
• Analyse wage costs and optimise labour expenses for financial planning.
• Approve payroll payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Research market trends in HR practices to inform strategic initiatives.
• Create and execute staff motivation and welfare programmes.
• Manage ad‑hoc projects that support overall business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HR functions across multiple business units.
• Strong understanding of compensation, benefits and payroll processes.
• Ability to analyse salary structures, labour costs and financial implications.
• Experience in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
• Project management skills to lead HR‑related initiatives.
