About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy for our Holiday Inn hotel in Singapore. The full‑time position works closely with senior leadership to drive employee engagement, recruitment, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage comprehensive HR strategies and policies aligned with Holiday Inn brand standards and organisational objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent across all departments.
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary matters, grievances and performance management in line with employment legislation.
  • Administer payroll, benefits and compensation programmes, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.
  • Design and coordinate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career progression.
  • Maintain comprehensive HR records and ensure compliance with data protection and employment regulations.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes diversity, inclusion and employee well‑being.
  • Provide strategic HR advice to senior management on organisational development, workforce planning and change management.
  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics such as turnover, engagement and training effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to identify staffing needs and support operational planning.

Required profile

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in hospitality or a similar service‑based industry.
  • Proven expertise in recruitment and talent management within a multi‑departmental environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment law and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and project‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proactive problem‑solving approach and genuine commitment to employee development.
  • Relevant HR qualifications such as CIPD, SHRM or equivalent.
