HVAC Commissioning Engineer (Data Centre)

About the role

A client of Recruitment Alliance, an MNC providing air conditioning and ventilation system solutions for the high-tech industry, is looking for a permanent HVAC Commissioning Engineer based in Paya Lebar, working five days a week. The role covers commissioning management for data centre projects.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate designs and project deliverables to confirm compliance with specifications and standards within set timelines.
• Supervise the commissioning team so that daily tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Lead and execute the commissioning process across all assigned projects, covering start-up, design, construction, acceptance, functional performance, system testing and operational turnover.
• Manage relationships with commissioning agents, contractors and suppliers, resolving on-site issues as they arise.
• Carry out project closeout and handover, and produce a commissioning report for each project.

Required profile

• Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 3 years' experience in HVAC data centre commissioning management or HVAC data centre design management.
• 3 years' experience with physical M&E equipment in data centres, especially HVAC.
• Speaks and writes two languages.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data centre safety and industry standards.
• Strong management skills.
