HVAC Service Sales Engineer

About the role

Carrier is looking for an HVAC Service Sales Engineer to act as the main point of contact for its customers and to drive aftermarket orders. The role supports organic growth in the local aftermarket service business, with a growth-hunter mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts, identifying key customers and developing action plans to grow them
• Work with the Technical Support Team to turn customer needs into available options
• Identify opportunities with existing and new customers, present proposals and coordinate processes to build long-lasting relationships
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and recommending solutions
• Organise regular service reviews with customers and the operations team on hot jobs and critical issues
• Determine pricing and selling strategies based on customer and vertical market needs, and prepare and review contract terms
• Gather and share marketplace feedback, including competitive information, customer expectations and industry trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HVAC sales experience
• Ability to grow new markets and foster existing accounts
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for customer visits (transport allowance provided)

Required skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, chiller plants, airside, building management systems (BMS), energy services and building services is essential
