ICT Trainer – Digital Education Specialist

About the role

The school is seeking a passionate ICT Trainer to empower primary‑school learners with essential digital skills. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, support staff with technology integration, and help maintain the school’s ICT infrastructure. This role combines classroom teaching with hands‑on technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct computer training for students on multimedia applications such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Collaborate with the Head of ICT to develop and review training resources aligned with the school’s digital competency framework.
• Teach digital literacy and safe online practices to Primary 1‑6 students.
• Provide ICT‑related training for staff, InfoComm Club members and student ICT leaders.
• Manage inventory of AV/IT equipment across classrooms, halls and special rooms, and support school events (PA setup, Microsoft Teams/Zoom, photography and videography).
• Maintain and archive the school’s media collection and support website design and maintenance.
• Offer technical assistance in computer labs and small‑group sessions, and assist in assessing the effectiveness of ICT programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching computer use and applications in a school setting, preferably with primary‑school students.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent in a related field.
• Motivated, strong project‑management abilities and a collaborative team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets and Sites.
• Experience with iOS devices (iPad, iMac, MacBook) and apps such as Keynote, Pages and Numbers.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Intermediate skills in STEM/coding tools like Scratch, Arduino, Micro:bit and Apple Swift Playground.
• Photography, video filming and editing capabilities.
