Information Technology Technician

About the role

CloudHQ is seeking an Information Technology Technician to keep its Singapore office’s technology running smoothly for employees, vendors and support staff. The role combines desk‑side, remote and site support and works closely with regional and global IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and support Microsoft 365, Windows 11, cloud applications and third‑party software.
• Set up and manage user accounts, laptops and mobile devices via Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for hardware, software and connectivity issues, logging work in the ticketing system.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP) and assist with switches, firewalls and wireless access points under senior guidance.
• Support meeting‑room technology, printers, mobile devices and maintain accurate IT asset inventory.
• Assist with endpoint compliance, system updates, routine maintenance and contribute to documentation.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams during infrastructure changes and deployments.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or professional qualification in IT, Computer Science, Networking or related field (preferred).
• Minimum five years of experience in IT support, desktop support or service‑desk environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and customer‑service orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in professional English.
• Willingness to learn Microsoft cloud, endpoint and networking technologies and provide occasional after‑hours support.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID.
• Basic networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN.
• Network troubleshooting tools such as ping, traceroute, nslookup, ipconfig.
• Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk).
• Basic PowerShell scripting.
