Infrastructure Engineer (Network and Endpoint)

About the role

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a technology consultancy based in Singapore, is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will join Tote Board and help shape the design, implementation and operation of network and endpoint infrastructure that underpins the organisation's digital services, delivering secure, reliable connectivity across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Network infrastructure: plan, design, procure and implement networks; act as network SME and give technical advice to projects
• Manage network projects, including vendor coordination, and handle ad-hoc tasks and incident response
• Perform firmware and software updates following change management procedures, and write operation and support standards
• Ensure network compliance with IM8 policies and hardening guidelines, and handle IM8 audits
• Endpoint management: plan, deploy and maintain endpoints using platforms such as Microsoft Intune and ServiceNow
• Manage provisioning, OS imaging, patching, firmware updates and device lifecycle
• Lead on-site IT support engineers, troubleshoot complex endpoint incidents and prepare management reports
• Work with End User Support Services to provision devices and resolve desktop issues

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in desktop operations, network infrastructure, server and LAN room setup and project deployment
• Experience in contract and vendor management
• Familiarity with the Government ICT environment, policies and standards
• Willingness to work outside regular hours when operationally required

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, SDN, internet routing, security and server/LAN room setup
• Microsoft Endpoint suite (M365, MS Office, Intune)
• ITIL v3
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
