Infrastructure Lead – Google Cloud Platform

About the role

Infrastructure Lead (Google Cloud Platform) is responsible for leading and implementing cloud architecture solutions focusing on design, deployments, automation, security etc. on GCP, supporting digital transformation, O&M and high‑visibility projects for Director‑level stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design, deployment and automation of GCP solutions for large‑scale enterprise projects.
• Coordinate with internal application stakeholders, senior management and delivery teams to align priorities and contractual obligations.
• Own end‑to‑end service delivery, escalation handling and KPI reporting for the client.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service quality.
• Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes and action items for PMC reviews.
• Drive business development by spotting expansion opportunities and collaborating with account managers.
• Provide strong leadership to project and application teams, fostering synergy and meeting customer expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience on large enterprise GCP projects (>$5 m), preferably with an SI.
• Professional‑level Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Developer, Generative AI Leader, Machine Learning Engineer).
• Strong problem‑solving, stakeholder management up to Director level and excellent communication skills.
• Degree in IT or related field.

Required skills

• Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Cloud KCC, Cloud Build, Deployment Manager, Pulumi, Terraform.
• Python scripting, Shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, LLM optimization (advantage).
• Knowledge of other clouds (AWS, Azure) and Singapore GovTech standards (advantage).
• Scrum Master, PMP certifications (advantage).
