Instructor Learning & Development – Weight & Balance & Dangerous Goods

About the role

The Learning & Development team is seeking an Instructor to design, deliver and assess training on Aircraft Weight & Balance, Load Control and Dangerous Goods Regulations. The role ensures that ground staff and partners meet regulatory standards through effective classroom, virtual or hybrid sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instructor‑led courses and assessments in‑person, virtually or in hybrid formats, maintaining high learner engagement and satisfaction.
• Develop, curate and refine courseware, ensuring content reflects the latest IATA, CAAS and internal regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external e‑learning providers to design digital learning materials.
• Support learning administration, including attendance tracking, grade communication, certificate issuance and logistical arrangements.
• Coach associate trainers to enhance their delivery capabilities.
• Conduct post‑course evaluations to measure effectiveness and implement improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma in any discipline; Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or Training and Assessment (ACTA) preferred.
• Current certification in aircraft weight & balance, load control and/or Dangerous Goods.
• Proven experience delivering Dangerous Goods competency‑based training and aircraft weight & balance programmes.
• Familiarity with Amadeus Altéa Departure Control/Flight Management system or similar load‑control tools.
