About the role
SingHealth is hiring an Instrument Technician Associate for its Central Sterile Supply Unit. The role provides and coordinates quality reprocessing services for surgical instruments and medical devices in the hospital, ensuring safe patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and wash soiled items
- Decontaminate, assemble, pack and sterilize instruments and equipment promptly, following established standards
- Distribute instruments and equipment
- Monitor and perform sterilisation quality control tests
- Maintain proper documentation and the care and maintenance of instruments and equipment
Required profile
- Entry level; Higher NITEC/NITEC in Engineering or GCE N/O/A
- Ability to work independently and handle soiled instruments
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays
- Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
