Insurance Broking Executive

About the role

The Insurance Broking Executive will support clients by arranging suitable general insurance placements and providing end‑to‑end broking services. Working from our Tampines office, you will liaise with both clients and insurers to ensure accurate policy documentation and timely renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Gather client insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options.
• Obtain underwriting information, submit to insurers, and negotiate quotations.
• Review premiums, policy terms and conditions, and explain them clearly to clients.
• Coordinate policy placement, documentation, and renewal processes.
• Monitor client statements, follow up on premium payments, and manage account renewals.
• Maintain accurate records of clients, policies, and broking activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Maritime Studies or a related field.
• Strong communication and client‑service orientation.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage documentation accurately.
• Willingness to obtain the relevant insurance certification (fees sponsored).
• Open to structured on‑the‑job training; prior broking experience not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
