Intern, Compliance (Regional) – 6 Months

About the role

ING's Wholesale Bank Asia internship programme (2027) offers a 6-month Compliance internship in Singapore, running from January to June. The Compliance team covers Asia and Singapore on topics such as Market Conduct, Conflicts of Interest, Competition, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Customer Centricity, Data Protection, Record Retention and Ethics and Culture. The internship includes structured onboarding, development initiatives, cross-functional networking, project showcases and an intern alumni community.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in updating and maintaining local and regional compliance frameworks, policies and procedures, including Individual Accountability and Conduct and Related Parties Transactions.
• Assist in rolling out Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for Compliance policies.
• Assist in rolling out mandatory Compliance training.
• Support the Singapore Compliance team on ad hoc projects arising from ordinary business.

Required profile

• Keen attention to detail and keen learner.
• Ability to multi-task, organized, with good interpersonal skills.
• Positive "can do" attitude, enjoys challenges and is willing to take on new tasks.
• Team player.

Required skills

• Experience in web programming languages is looked upon favourably.
