Intern - HVM Photo AI Agents (AI)

About the role

Micron is offering an internship in its Fab10 High Volume Manufacturing Photo department, under the project "AI Agents for High Volume Manufacturing Photo Productivity and Automation". The intern works alongside Photo engineers to explore how AI-enabled solutions can streamline engineering workflows, generate intelligent insights and improve operational efficiency. The internship lasts at least 4 months and is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Understand selected HVM Photo engineering workflows, data sources and productivity challenges.
• Identify and assess use cases for AI-enabled automation and intelligent knowledge retrieval.
• Develop Python-based automation, analytics and data-processing solutions for selected use cases.
• Design and prototype AI Agents using Generative AI and Large Language Model concepts.
• Evaluate the effectiveness, usability and potential business value of the solutions.
• Deliver an AI Agent prototype, Python scripts and data pipelines, a dashboard of productivity metrics, technical documentation and a final presentation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree or equivalent in Engineering, Data Science, AI, Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to commit to a full-time internship of at least 4 months.
• Interest in AI, machine learning, generative AI, large language models or agentic AI.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, able to present technical findings clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with data processing or analytics libraries.
• Experience with data analysis, visualization and structured problem solving.

Successful interns may be considered for future full-time employment. The internship takes place in Singapore, at Fab10 (1 North Coast Drive).
