Intern, Product Manager - Identity & Access Management

About the role

Autodesk is recruiting an Intern Product Manager for its Identity & Access Management (IAM) team, which secures access across cloud, desktop, AI and ecosystem workflows, including non-person identities, agentic access and service-account governance. The internship runs from 11 January to 25 June 2027 (six months, full-time, fixed dates) and offers hands-on exposure to authentication and authorization services within a fast-moving platform team. An on-site in-person recruitment drive runs from 9 October to 6 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Explore emerging product management practices shaped by AI, such as AI-assisted user research synthesis, automated metric monitoring and prompt-driven competitive analysis, and share findings with the team
• Contribute to the evolution of identity for the AI era, including non-human identities, agentic access and service-account governance
• Work with engineers, architects, designers and colleagues to deliver features and contribute to Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
• Support internal communications by explaining product value and developer/customer workflows to stakeholders
• Take part in customer research to understand user personas, pain points and potential solutions
• Support senior PMs in sharing product updates with stakeholders through clear written and verbal communication

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Design or a related field, graduating in 2027 or 2028
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Internship duration: 11 January to 25 June 2027, six months full-time

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with AI tools and curiosity about how they can improve product teams
• Analytical mindset and interest in synthesizing information from multiple sources
• Comfortable working across functions with engineers, designers and business partners
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to seeking guidance
• Interest in platform products, developer tooling, licensing or enterprise SaaS is a plus
