Intern - Regional UPSkill Enablement

About the role

Applied Materials is looking for an intern to support its South East Asia UPSkill (workforce development) programs end to end. The role covers capability insights, training evaluation (surveys and feedback) and delivery coordination, helping build a future-ready organization. It is a 6-month full-time internship based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluation and insights: run training evaluation cycles (surveys, feedback consolidation, segmentation) and turn findings into improvement actions.
• Effectiveness analytics: analyze learner feedback and participant segments to find trends, root causes and prioritized recommendations.
• Program operations: support annual work planning, scheduling and coordination, logistics (trainer and venue where applicable) and post-program follow-ups.
• Communications and engagement: create and update program communications such as slides, briefs and announcements.
• Metrics and reporting: track and report KPIs such as adoption, enrolment/completion and evaluation scores, highlighting risks and trends.
• Ecosystem and ad hoc portfolio support: support cross-team initiatives and regional office requests with defined outputs and deadlines.
• Continuous improvement: identify process and tool improvements that reduce rework and improve the learner experience.

Required profile

• Ability to turn learner feedback and training data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong research and structured problem-solving capability.
• Effective communication, including concise slide building and writing for learner engagement.
• High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and follow through in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive, curious and adaptable, with a willingness to commit full time for 6 months.
