Intern – Trade Marketing

About the role

Haleon, a consumer health company with brands such as Sensodyne, Panadol, Advil, Voltaren, Theraflu, Otrivin and Centrum, is recruiting one Trade Marketing intern. The intern develops channel and shopper merchandising and promotion strategies, analyses promotional effectiveness, and supports the Trade Marketing Executive across administrative, campaign and channel work. The preferred period is January 2027 to June/July 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Administrative support: coordinate channel support requests, raise quotations and purchase orders, assist with compliance checks (barcode, pricing, promotions, RI forms), update the master calendar and raise requisitions for channel listings and GWPs.
• Campaign support: help develop POSM, update master listings after regulatory permits, support channel special campaigns, assist on campaign KVs with the Brand Team, coordinate GWP purchases and support site events.
• Channel champion management: take a subset of channels and drive trade marketing executions independently, support Haleon Rewards recruitment, gather competitive intelligence and share monthly pricing data.
• Data analytics: run descriptive promotion analysis for key channels, update channel scans and share insights on long-term trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or equivalent.
• Motivated, organised, detail-oriented, with good time management and ethical grounding.
• Able to work independently and in teams, with strong verbal and written communication.
• Applicants must state their proposed start and end dates.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI preferred.
• Sound data analysis and commercial understanding.
