Internal Audit Manager – Financial Services (Risk Consulting)

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join its Risk Consulting practice, focusing on Financial Services. You will help clients build integrated, sustainable risk and control frameworks that protect and enhance business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan audit engagements: research client background, assess risks, design tailored audit programs and schedules, and lead kickoff meetings.
• Execute complex audit tests, conduct senior‑management interviews, guide junior staff, and identify gaps or loopholes.
• Prepare draft and final audit reports, ensure internal reviews are completed, and present findings to clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with client personnel and internal EY teams across advisory services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of internal audit or line‑function experience in a commercial environment or a large public accounting firm.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated integrity, professional ethics and willingness to travel on overseas assignments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Microsoft Visio.
• Data‑analytics capabilities (advantageous).
