Investment Counselor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Counselor to provide advisory and portfolio solutions for our high‑net‑worth clients. The role involves market research, portfolio construction, and ongoing monitoring to meet clients’ investment objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide investment advisory and portfolio solutions based on clients’ objectives, risk profiles and market conditions.
• Conduct market research and analysis across equities, fixed income, funds, ETFs, structured products and other instruments.
• Develop investment ideas and recommendations based on macroeconomic trends and market developments.
• Assist in portfolio construction, asset allocation and rebalancing to achieve client goals.
• Monitor existing portfolios, deliver regular reviews and recommendations.
• Prepare investment proposals, portfolio analysis, market updates and related materials.
• Evaluate investment products for risk‑return characteristics and suitability.
• Liaise with private banks, fund managers and other counterparties on products and execution.
• Support Relationship Managers in investment discussions and presentations.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Perform other investment‑related duties and projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Banking or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in investment advisory, private banking, wealth management, asset management or family office.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and multiple asset classes, especially equities, fixed income and funds.
• Excellent analytical ability to evaluate investment opportunities independently.
• Proven capability to construct and review portfolios for varied objectives and risk profiles.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA are a plus.
