IT Governance Analyst – Technology Risk & Compliance

About the role

abaxx is looking for an IT Governance Analyst to support technology governance and oversight across the organization. The role offers exposure to operational resilience, cybersecurity governance, regulatory compliance and technology risk management within a highly regulated financial market infrastructure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance technology governance frameworks, standards, policies and procedures.
• Support technology risk assessments, control reviews and monitor remediation actions.
• Coordinate evidence collection for internal and external audits and track audit findings.
• Prepare regular governance reports, KRIs and management information for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technology, compliance, business and audit teams to drive governance initiatives.
• Identify and implement improvements to governance processes, reporting and workflow tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in technology governance, risk management, IT risk or information security governance.
• Hands‑on experience with IT change management processes and tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Experience in vulnerability governance and remediation tracking across infrastructure, platform and application environments.
• Good understanding of IT governance principles, frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and demonstrate a continuous learning mindset.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills.
