IT Intern – Cloud & Platform

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT intern to help build intelligent, automated infrastructure across cloud, network and end‑user computing. You will work alongside experienced engineers, using AI, automation and observability to improve reliability, user experience and end‑to‑end fulfilment of IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize cloud operations on GCP and create service visualisations with Grafana.
• Detect performance and security anomalies using AI and design scripts, bots or workflows for automated remediation.
• Help build and improve dashboards, alerts and health checks for network and EUC services.
• Contribute to defining and tracking SLIs/SLOs such as availability, latency, fulfilment times and security indicators.
• Analyse end‑to‑end workflows for cloud resources, network changes and EUC requests, identifying bottlenecks and proposing automation or process improvements.

Required profile

• Familiarity with cloud fundamentals (IaaS, PaaS, containers) and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like GCP or Azure through projects or coursework.
• Basic understanding of monitoring and observability tools.
• Interest in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, platform engineering and AI‑assisted automation.
• Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
