IT Junior System Engineer (Contract) – Urgent

About the role

We are looking for an IT Junior System Engineer to join our Singapore office on a 6‑month contract. You will support the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, working closely with senior engineers to diagnose issues and implement improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep IT systems running smoothly.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining network components such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Install, update, and maintain software applications and hardware components.
• Implement security measures to protect systems from cyber threats and ensure compliance with IT policies.
• Support the deployment of new technologies and system upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and incidents.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and IT teams to provide technical assistance and improve system efficiency.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate with a basic understanding of networking and security concepts.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.
• Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior engineers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Windows operating system.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configuration.
• Basic knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewalls.
