IT Onsite Support Asia

About the role

Fuku is hiring an IT Onsite Support specialist for its Asia region, based in Singapore. The role manages day-to-day IT operations, focusing on handling end-user requests and incidents. It reports functionally to the Lead IT Onsite Support Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second-line investigation and diagnosis of IT issues and troubleshoot PC incidents and VIP requests.
• Resolve and close incidents and service requests within allocated timelines, log them and update tickets until resolved.
• Escalate unresolved incidents within agreed timescales and communicate progress to clients.
• Liaise with clients, other IT support groups and third-party providers, and coordinate with vendors for hardware repair.
• Perform PC and laptop staging, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities and administer corporate SIM cards.
• Support Markets (Trading) workstations, night desk staff, video conferences, special events and create and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience providing onsite support for desktop and network equipment in an IT environment.
• Diploma or ITE in Computing, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Strong oral and written communication in English, excellent customer interface and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to be on standby for ad-hoc work outside normal office hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
• Ability to analyse regulatory material and internal controls; technical documentation writing is a plus.
