IT Operations Specialist

About the role

The IT Operations Specialist will support the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at NTU, ensuring that all IT services run smoothly for faculty, staff and researchers. The role involves managing infrastructure, handling service‑level agreements and maintaining client satisfaction within the Centre of IT Services.

Key responsibilities

• Run infrastructure and system operations for the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.
• Ensure seamless operation of all program and department IT services.
• Manage implementation of infrastructure changes and routine maintenance.
• Contribute to design and implementation of infrastructure replacement plans.
• Maintain service‑level agreements, objectives and targets, monitoring performance.
• Track client‑satisfaction metrics and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT operations (more experience may lead to a higher grade).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
